Since 1994, we have been providing the Johnson and Iowa County communities with clean, secure storage units.
We are known for our reliable, trustworthy customer service and our commitment to keeping prices reasonable for our valued customers.
PB Storage will meet all of your storage needs with our various sized units in Tiffin, IA. We offer both residential and commercial self storage. We can create extra space at home, at work, or on your driveway!

I'm confused - are you the same as PJ Storage?
Yes! Effective January 1, with a change of owners between family members, our name changed from PJ Storage to PB Storage. No other changes were made besides minimal rate increases as noted on the Plans & Pricing page. Also with new ownership we will be improving our storage units in the spring when warmer weather arrives.
When can I move in?
If we have storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you may move in anytime during normal business hours.
How much notice needs to be given before I move out?
All contracts are month-to-month. However, we do require a 2-week notice before you move out.
What kind of documentation needs to be provided in order to rent a space?
We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver's license, state ID, or passport)
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.
How much is the deposit?
A $100 deposit is due with the contract, and will be refunded at end if all payments have been made on time, unit is clean and undamaged, and 2 weeks notice is given prior to vacating the unit.
How do I make a payment?
You may pay by postal mail or at the office, Mon-Fri 8-5 or Sat by appt., and you may be able to pay here on the website at some point.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, credit card or direct deposit
Will my rate increase?
We raised our rates in Jan 2020 after 10 years, and we have no plans to raise rates. However as with all businesses, if the economy or market causes a rise in our expenses, you may incur a minimal increase to your rental rate, but we will notify you by mail before any changes are made.
Do you have handcarts/dollies available at your facility?
Yes we have 2-wheel dollies.
How do I know how much storage space I will need?
Call the office phone number for assistance, and we'll be happy to help you choose the correct space for your needs.
Are there any items I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
